The President of the University of Zakho, Dr. Nadhim S. Abdulaziz, participated in the activities of the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities in its fifty-fifth session, which was hosted by the Faculty of Medicine in Sousse, Tunisia.

The conference activities were held between March 18 and 19, with the participation of more than 150 university presidents from various Arab countries, including eight universities from the Kurdistan region.

Throughout the event, numerous seminars and panels were presented. Discussions were initiated concerning the development of academic relations between the Kurdistan and Arab universities.
